My name is Jeanette Lester. I am a registered member of the BACP and NCS, following their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

I am a fully qualified professional counsellor. I support children, young people, and adults with challenges such as anxiety, trauma, bereavement, relationship difficulties, and general emotional wellbeing.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I use a variety of approaches. These include Person-Centred, CBT-informed, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, and creative techniques such as sandtray and symbolic play. I tailor each session to the individual.

My experience includes:

• Supporting children and young people through Place2Be, the UK’s leading school mental health organisation

• Advising and supporting clients with DAVSS, a domestic abuse charity

• Counselling students at West Kent College and adults via Mind Support & Recovery Counselling Service

• Working in private practice, workplace EAPs, and clinical placements, including CAMHS

I attend regular supervision and CPD workshops to maintain and develop my skills. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and professional indemnity insurance. I am committed to providing ethical, reflective, and client-centred care.
