About Me
Welcome! My name is Jeanette Lester, I am a member of the National Counselling Society (NCS) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
As a fully qualified professional counsellor, I provide support and counselling for children ,young people,and adults who have been experiencing a wide range of issues and difficulties.
I am an Integrative Counsellor. This means that I have studied many different approaches, enabling me to assess the client's needs and offer a unique service to each individual.
My training includes working in various organisations such as DAVSS - domestic abuse charity as an advisor and West Kent College as a student counsellor.I trained with Place2Be, the UK's leading mental health organisation for children and adolescents.

I attend regular supervision and attend training sessions on a regular basis in a variety of counselling topics.
I have a DBS enhanced certificate and professional indemnity insurance in place .I regularly update my counselling knowledge and skills by participating in Continued Professional Development (CPD)workshops.
